Last night all the candidates for House District 52 participated in a forum at Southwestern University. It was a great opportunity for all of us to share our ideas for our county and state. The students and other audience members submitted great questions about some of the issues currently facing Texas, including education opportunities for all children, access to healthcare, property tax reform, size of government, and border security. I hope you had an opportunity to attend the forum. If not, several press outlets were present and we’ll be sure to post their insights onto this site when they become available – so stay tuned!

Welcome to the new blog for the Bryan Daniel Campaign. I am excited about the opportunity to visit with voters in this forum.
To start things off, I’ll give you a brief update on campaign activities. We campaigned all summer, but things have really taken off since Labor Day. We have a great group of volunteers who have been out block walking to register new voters and to visit with current voters about what they want their next state representative to accomplish. I’ve been out knocking on doors, too, and I have found folks here in Williamson County are concerned the most about transportation and rising property taxes. I’ll provide more on those issues in future posts. See more >>

I always enjoy opportunities to visit with voters and answer any questions they have about my campaign, so I greatly appreciated the efforts of the Hutto Economic Development Corporation in putting together a candidates forum. If you weren’t able to make it to the forum, I hope you enjoy the videos.

Having the support of my family has been priceless throughout this campaign. Just like any campaign, ours is a team effort, and I have three wonderful team members always close by my side. For the Williamson County Fourth of July festivities, my daughters decorated a wagon and helped me throw candy to parade-goers. It is a great memory, and they constantly remind me of why I am running for state representative.
